'Inherit The Fandom' follows a father and daughter's dream about being part of their first Super Bowl. This commercial was part of a three-part immersive experience, on SCAD's LED Volume, developed by Salvatore Cardinale as the Final Presentation Lead.
Salvatore had the opportunity to direct, executive produce, and develop the ideation of the project's storyline.
Being involved in this SCADpro, Salvatore collaborated with a team of 17 people, all of whom were different majors. As Final Presentation Lead, he was responsible for bringing together all of the augmented reality graphics and displaying them as the project’s final deliverables on the Volume.
Salvatore assembled and managed a film team of 20+ people, alongside the SCADpro team. Secured SCAD's Volume Stage to debut the integrated graphics in the form of a commercial and live event developed via storytelling in Unreal Engine 5.
First of the augmented reality graphics shown to the client, "The Oasis" was one of two Score to Break concepts the team presented.
The second Score to Break concept highlights the stats of the game, as well as displaying the Las Vegas elements unique to this Super Bowl.
"The Playbook" was a graphic that highlights a detailed comparison between two players, also known as Player vs. Player.
"The Flip" is a player stats graphic that plays on the Las Vegas element of 2024's Super Bowl. All while displaying the necessary information of every showcased player.
A Team vs. Team graphic, "The Jackpot" displays the stats of the opposing teams during the game.
The finale of the presentation was the "Drive Summary". Keeping true to the Vegas-themed elements, there is no short of grandeur in this graphic as it closed out the presentation with a bang!
The CBS Sports x SCADPro team had the opportunity interviewed throughout the ten-week process. Talking about team dynamics, deliverables, and the overall project. This sizzle was featured on CBS Sports Network during Super Bowl LVIII.
